Local Motion provides shared-ride transportation services for residents of Barnwell County to move to jobs, job training, medical appoinments, education, shopping, social outings and special events.  As the public transprortation provider for Barnwell County, Local Motion offers a convenient, safe and cost-effective way to travel.  In County service begins at 3:00 am daily.  Out of County service is available to Aiken, Augusta, Banberg, Charleston, Columbia, Allendale, and Orangeburg. 

Drivers are courteous and well-trained in areas of Defensive Driving, First Aid, CPR, and Passenger Assistance. 

Buses are clean and comfortable.  They are equipped to accomodate wheelchairs and other assistive devices.  Escorts are allowed for passengers who require assistance.
