Generations Unlimited was established in 1974 to provide services for older adults in Barnwell County.  Over the years, Generations Unlimited has expanded its mission to provide and promote services to enhance the quality of life for all Barnwell County residents through providing public transportation, operating the Gail Reyes Senior Center and promoting family health and wellness through our fitness center.  

The Gail Reyes Senior Center serves as the venue for Senior Citizens to participate in social and educational activities and to receive a daily hot, nutritious meal.  In addition, meals are delivered daily throughout the county to senior shut-ins to ensure they receive a nutritious meal daily. 

Local Motion provides shared-ride transportation services to all citizens of Barnwell County to help them reach employment, job training, educational opportunities, shopping destinations, medical appointments and special events or social outings. Buses and mini-vans run daily and are operated by well-trained, capable and caring drivers.  Transportation is available in- county and out-of-county going to Aiken, Augusta, Allendale, Columbia, Charleston, Orangeburg and Bamberg.  

The Family Health and Wellness Center is open seven days a week and is accessible 24 hours a day through our keyless entry system.  Members have unlimited use of the facility.  Equipment includes elliptical machines, upright bikes, stair steppers, cardioglides, treadmills, hand weights, and resistance equipment.  There is a personal trainer available to members.
