A: In addition to security personnel and our employees, you can do your part by reporting anything that looks suspicious or out of the ordinary.
 
If you see a suspicious package or activity on the platform or train don't keep it to yourself. Tell a Police Officer or one of our employee.

Q: Can children ride for free on MTA subways and buses?

A: Children under 44 inches tall ride free of charge on New York City Transit subways and on local buses of New York City Transit, MTA Bus, and Long Island Bus. No more than three children per adult may ride free. On express buses, children two and under may ride for free only if they sit on an adult's lap.
